Verifying your Account

Instructions
Once you have logged into your account using the registration step above, VALR will request your cell phone number. They will send an SMS to this number with a 6 digit PIN. Please enter this PIN to link your cell phone number to your VALR account.
Once done, this will show the following screen. Please click on “Verify my identity”.
The first step is to enter your residential address. Please do so. You do not need to provide proof of this residential address.
The second step is to provide a colour image of your original ID document. This could be your ID document, your driver’s license, or your passport. Please click on “Start”.
Please select the type you would like to use.
If you chose either an ID card or drivers license, you will need to take a photo of the front and back of your card. Make sure all four sides are clearly visible and there is no reflection or glare. Ensure that your fingers are not blocking any information on the document. They don’t accept photocopies or scans. Upload these two pics – you will be prompted to upload them individually – front first, then back. After this, you will then be prompted to take a selfie.
This should complete the signup process – you should see the following screen:
You should receive a confirmation email that your account is activated.
