Instructions
Return to the Tax Compliance Status Request section of eFiling. Under ‘Foreign Investment Allowance’ requests, click on the most recent request.
The following page should display as below. If it does not have the part about ‘SARS has requested that you supply supporting documentation for your application’ this means that you will need to wait a bit longer.
Click on ‘TCR01’ documents.
Click on the ‘Choose file’ button and navigate to where your completed FIA documents are found on your computer. Select the file and then click the ‘Upload’ button. Do this for each of the files you have:
- Letter.docx
- Assets and Liabilities.xlsx
- A statement (or multiple statements)
Once all documents have been uploaded, check under the ‘UPLOADED DOCUMENTS’ section. Check that all the documents have been uploaded and they should all have a green tick in the ‘Success’ column. They should also have been automatically converted to pdf. You can view them to ensure that they have been converted correctly if you’d like.
Once done, click on the ‘Submit to SARS’ button at the bottom of the page.
A popup will appear asking if you are certain that these are all the documents you need to submit. If you have uploaded all of them, then click ‘OK’.
The next page should indicate that your documents have been submitted:
