Creating an API Key

Instructions
In order for us to perform automated trading using our script, we need to gain access to your account using an API, which gives limited access to your account.
To create this, log-in and click on “Profile”.
Scroll down to the Security section and click on “INCREASE SECURITY”.
Click on “API keys”.
Then click “Create API key”
Under “Key label”, call it whatever you like. We’ve called this one “Arbitrage”.
Under permissions, select “Custom”.
This will display a new section on the screen with checkboxes for access rights for the API key.
NB: It’s very important that you follow the next steps exactly as they appear here.
In the first section, select the checkboxes for all of the options – as below.
Under the second section, click on “Restrict send addresses”. A new field will appear. In this field, please paste the below email address:
Paste this in the “Restrict send addresses” field.
Once that’s done, click “NEXT”
After this, a screen will be displayed containing your API key and secret.
NB: It’s important to keep these credentials safe – whoever has access to these keys can trade with your account. You will need to share these keys with Lumina using the form below so that we can automate the trading process. Please do not store a copy of these keys – you will not need them again.
Submit Your Luno Credentials
Copy these keys into the relevant fields below.
Do not share these details with anybody else. Do not paste these keys anywhere else – don’t worry – you won’t need them again.
After clicking “NEXT”, Luno will send through an SMS to your cell phone number which will contain a link. Please click on the link in the SMS to verify your API key.
