Kraken’s registration process is well designed and simple to follow, but does take some time to get verified correctly. You need to get verified to the ‘Intermediate’ level of trading at least.

High level steps:

1. Register on Kraken
2. Verify to Intermediate level
3. Enable 2FA
4. Create and submit an API key
5. Adding a BTC withdrawal address
6. Get deposit details

2. Proof of Residence
3. Cellphone number to receive SMSs
