Enabling 2FA

Instructions

It is now required, (and is strongly recommended) for account (and thus your funds) safety to enable 2FA on your account. You need to perform this in order to create API credentials.

To do this on Kraken, click on or hover over the circle in the top right hand corner of the webpage with your initial in it.

On the dropdown, click on “Security”.

On the next screen. Look under “Security and Login” – add a Two-factor authentication method by clicking on “change method”. NOTE: Do not add in 2FA for anything other than your login as then you will need to share your code with Lumina in order for us to trade for you.

A popup will appear asking if you would like to change the two-factor authentication method. Click “Yes”.

In the next popup, click “SET IT UP” next to the Authenticator App option.

This will produce another popup. This time click “NEXT”.

This will make the last popup. Scan the QR code displayed into your authenticator app and enter the 6 digit code that it generates into the entry box.

Then click “SAVE”.
